Happy Founder's Day

Today, December 4th 2008, marks the 102nd founding anniversary of the oldest black greek-letter fraternity that I hold dear to my heart, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. In 1906 at the campus of Cornell University, 7 distinct men known as The Jewels began a journey that has impacted a culture, country, and the world. On this day, I give thanks for my 12 other line brothers and DP. I am truly honored to call you men my brothers and my friends!! I give thanks for my crossing chapter Gamma Beta and to all brothers new and old.

I found a video feature produced by ESPN on the art of stepping. It is an amazing feature on this year's past homecoming step show at Howard University, the home where most black greek-letter fraternities & sororities were founded. Some people have the strange misconception that black greek-letter fraternity's just step but all I got to say to that is DO YOUR RESEARCH!!
